William F. Burd

William F. Burd, 67, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024. He was born on Monday, June 4, 1956 in Barberton, Ohio to the late William and Macel (Helmick) Burd and lived in the Barberton area all of his life. He was a loving husband, father and friend. Bill had a great love for the outdoors, hiking with his beloved dog Petey, and visiting National Parks. He will be greatly missed.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Burd (nee Szittai); and sister, Nancy Dalton.  He is survived by his daughters, Annie Burd, Sara Burd, Mary Burd, Elizabeth Burd; nephew, Shane Duffiney; niece, Amber McKee; sister-in-law, Shelly (Dan) Mealey; brothers-in-law, Rick (Ann) Szittai, Tim Szittai, John Szittai (Cindy Shannon); mother-in-law, Ann Szittai;  and many other loving family and friends.
