William L. Jones

William Jones, 75, passed away November 29, 2006. Born December 31, 1930 in Akron to the late Earl and Pauline (Paige) Jones, William has lived in the Akron area all his life. He worked for Conrail Railroad as a railroad engineer in 1965 retiring in 1995. Along with his parents, William is preceded in death by his wife Mary in 2005. He is survived by his children, Charleen (Luther) Rogers, Charles (Susan) Jones and Stephen (Kathy) Jones; step-children, Susan Simmons, Roberta (Abner) Stoltzfus and William Ridler; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Nanette (Walt) Wilde; and many other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 11:00 am at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON. Visitation will be ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time on Tuesday. William's final resting place is Rose Hill Burial Park.
