William Arlo Stalnaker

William Arlo Stalnaker, 88, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. He was born on Wednesday, October 17, 1934 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Clark and Arly (Kuhl) Stalnaker. Bill was a faithful member of Connect Church and the former Akron Baptist Temple. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jean Stalnaker; daughter, Dawn Wells; siblings, Glenn, Lee, Eileen and Juanita. He is survived by sons, William (Kathy Burns) Stalnaker, Terrence (Brenda) Stalnaker, Roger (Vickie) Stalnaker, Daev Stalnaker, Ed (Marcia) Stalnaker; daughter, Doris (Jim) McVey; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.

The family will greet friends at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Akron, OH 44319 on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following at 7 p.m. Rev. Larry Knight officiating. Burial will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
