Willie L. Hubbard Jr.

Willie Lamar Hubbard Jr., 59, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021.

Willie was born Wednesday, January 18, 1961 in Akron, Ohio, to the late Willie and Juanita (Thomas) Hubbard and lived in the Akron and Tallmadge areas all his life. He worked for Weaver School and workshop for many years.  He loved basketball and going to church, both North Hill United Methodist Church and Trinity United Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, Willie is preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Hubbard.  He is survived by his sisters, Kim (Fred) Hubbard-Clark, LaWanda (Jeffery Caldwell) Terrell, and Monica Graphenreed; brothers, Robert Hubbard and James Graphenreed; special cousin, Sandra (Sam) DeShazior; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 19, 2021, 12:00 noon at Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore Funeral Home, 936 North Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44310 (corner of N. Main St. and Mildred Ave.).  Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the funeral home.  Willie's final resting place will be Mount Peace Cemetery.
